Green Leaders' goal is to create a platform for responsible individuals and businesses to work together - to combine efforts, minds, and buying power to improve our well-being and that of the environment while building a sustainable economy. Green Leaders reaches a demographic of motivated residents of the GTA that want to learn about environment and health options for themselves, their families, businesses, and communities.
Green Leaders' readers want more information and options that contribute to a better environment and healthier lifestyle -information that is not currently readily available. They choose to pick up and use this resource directory because it gives the information they are looking for and offers them a way to locate the businesses that share their green philosophy.
You may notice that this year’s Green Leaders Directory used a less white, brite text paper. After careful research Index Media consciously made the decision to move away from a higher end text paper on its classified listing pages to maximize the total impact to the environment. We understood that Green Leaders needed to walk the talk and as such moved to a 100% PCW FSC, AFF newsprint. The net effect was that this years Directory saved 257 trees vs last year’s 164.
